Fuel Poverty Awareness Day 2020

National
Friday 27th November, 2020 - 0:00 to 11:45

About this event

As winter fast approaches, this year’s Fuel Poverty Awareness Day by the NEA (National Energy Action) will be held on Friday 27th November.

Fuel poverty is an increasingly serious situation where a family or household on a low income lives in an energy inefficient home that can't be kept warm at a reasonable cost.

With more people spending time at home as a result of the pandemic, this winter could see further challenges for people who may be struggling already with their energy bills, and those who are ill or having to self-isolate, facing the practical challenges in paying for energy.
