Everyone is invitied to the Dementia Virtual Bus Event taking place during Dementia Action Week. The event will be held at the Haynes Dementia Hub (151 Park Road, Hornsey, N8 8JD) on Friday 22nd May from 10.00am – 4.30pm.
Come along to experience the Virtual Dementia Bus Tour provided by Home Instead. This is a life-changing experience that helps people understand what dementia might feel like and learn simple ways to improve care and environments for people living with dementia.
The Virtual Dementia Bus Tour will be available to book from 11am - 4.30pm on the day, on a first come, first served basis.
Throughout the day there will be wellbeing activities including the opportunity to enjoy live music, have a massage and take part in a laughter yoga session! There will also be a series of informative talks, and stalls showcasing services and organisations. There will also be a prize draw with the opportunity to win a Tottenham Hotspurs signed pennant!
Light refreshments will be provided, and a barbeque lunch will be available to purchase for £5. Pre-booking is advised for lunch as availability will be limited on the day.
