About this event

Hosted by Marmalade Trust, Loneliness Awareness Week is the world's largest campaign to inspire conversations about loneliness and promote connection activities happening across the world.

Haringey Reach and Connect has been promoting and driving conversation around loneliness awareness in Haringey for a number of years. Together with our partners in the voluntary and community sector we are celebrating the power of community and connection to bring about positive change.

This year, the week runs from 15th to 21st June and the theme is 'Giving Loneliness a Voice'. There are lots of things happening across Haringey during the week with a focus on loneliness and supporting people to talk about and understand it more.

For more information on what's on, check out Kissing it Better's calendar for Haringey. These activities are run by various organisations in various locations and most of them take place regularly, either weekly or monthly, throughout the year.

Why not pop along to something in your area? It’s a great opportunity to try new activities, talk to people about loneliness and generally think about connecting with your local community.
