The Conversation Café is run by Haringey Reach and Connect and offers people in Haringey who are over 50 the chance to practice their English conversation skills in a welcoming and friendly environment. It was launched in 2023 as part of Loneliness Awareness Week.
Loneliness is a natural human emotion, but for many in our community, particularly older people, loneliness can be an everyday feeling that impacts on physical and mental health. Our Café supports local people to make new social connections through love of language and conversation.
